Terms of service
Please read these terms, which apply to work carried out by Urban Locksmith.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are given based on the information you provide. Consequently if the job differs materially from that description, we stop and agree any change with you before continuing. Furthermore, quoted prices include travel within our service area and carry no after-hours surcharge.
Proof of ownership
Urban Locksmith requires proof that you are entitled to access the property or vehicle before any work begins. Photo ID matching the address, vehicle registration, or a lease or business licence for commercial premises. Consequently we reserve the right to decline work where that cannot be provided.
Non-destructive entry and damage
Entry is non-destructive wherever the lock permits. However, some cylinders cannot be opened without drilling. In those cases you are told beforehand, together with the replacement cost, and work proceeds only with your agreement. Furthermore, pre-existing damage or wear is not the responsibility of Urban Locksmith.
Payment and warranty
Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in advance. We accept cards, cash and e-transfer. Additionally, hardware supplied carries the manufacturer's warranty, and our workmanship is warranted against defects. However, warranty does not cover misuse, forced entry, or damage caused by others after we leave.
